Job summary

Infra Pipes is seeking a Packaging Operator to maintain product quality from extrusion through packaging. You will monitor prints, reels, and markings, and ensure reels meet size specifications before being moved to inventory.

The role requires forklift operation, basic math, and strong organizational skills within a safety-forward environment. You will support extrusion start-ups, maintain orderly work areas, and complete line paperwork to ensure accurate inventory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of experience performing the essential functions listed above.
• Ability to perform simple math including adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing and taking measurements.
• Must be able to drive a forklift.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with many types of personalities.
• Ability to work with little supervision and exercise sound judgment.
• Must be able to read, write and understand English.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor product quality during manufacturing and packaging to meet order requirements.
• Check print and footage markings and make corrections as needed.
• Build reels to size specifications and place onto the coiler.
• Transport finished product into inventory using a forklift.
• Assist extrusion tech in line start-ups and maintain a neat work area.
• Complete line operations paperwork for inventory transactions.
