Job summary

Infra Pipes is seeking a Packaging Operator in Albuquerque, NM to maintain HDPE pipe quality throughout manufacturing and packaging. You will monitor the process, inspect markings, build reels, and ensure reels are prepared for startup.

The role includes assisting extrusion techs, maintaining a clean workspace, and timely inventory paperwork. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years of relevant experience, and the ability to perform basic math.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of experience performing the essential functions listed above.
• Ability to perform simple math (add, subtract, multiply, divide) and take measurements.
• Must have a valid driver's license and vehicle insurance.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with little supervision and under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and checks product during manufacturing to meet order requirements.
• Monitors print and footage markings; makes corrections as needed.
• Ensures continuous stripe where required and correct quality standards.
• Builds reels to size specifications using reel components.
• Places reels onto the coiler and ensures reels are in good condition.
• Operators transports finished product into inventory with forklift.
• Assists extrusion tech in line start-ups and maintains clean work area.
• Completes line operations paperwork for inventory accuracy.
