Job summary

Core & Main is seeking a skilled welder to operate equipment that fuses polyethylene pipe, including HDPE systems. The role requires driving a company vehicle to multiple job sites and maintaining safety through an acceptable MVR. A strong foundation in welding and adherence to quality procedures is essential.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or GED, 0–2 years of related experience, and familiarity with McElroy fusion equipment. Overnight travel of 10–15% may be required.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Pre-employment assessments may be required.
• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Weld and fuse thermoplastic HDPE piping systems.
• Transport fusion equipment to job sites and assist in warehouse tasks.
• Communicate with customers to assist with their needs.
• Identify fusion welds and prioritize repairs on projects.
• Maintain welding procedures to meet quality standards.
