Job summary

Core & Main, based in St. Louis, is seeking a welder to join field operations in Beaver, WV. You will weld HDPE pipelines, transport fusion equipment to job sites, and support maintenance and repairs while communicating with customers. Training and certifications are provided, with travel and on-site work typical.

The role requires a valid driver's license, 18+ years of age, and 0–2 years of relevant experience. A CDL and advanced certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• 0–2 years of experience in the area of responsibility.
• Must be 18 years or older and have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Determine method and equipment to weld specialized thermoplastic polyethylene pipe.
• Assist in custom electric and butt-welding HDPE piping systems and repairs.
• Communicate with customers to assist with their needs.
• Maintain welding procedures to meet quality standards.
• Transport fusion equipment to the job site and respond to short-notice repairs.
