Job summary

Ferguson is seeking a General Maintenance Associate in the Phoenix area to support equipment maintenance, repair and safe operations. You will operate power tools and Fusion equipment, follow OSHA guidelines and company safety procedures, and assist with packing and shipping activities.

The role requires the ability to work in a shop or field environment, lift up to 50 lbs, and adhere to a Monday–Friday schedule with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Relevant automotive repair, equipment repair highly preferred
• Familiarity with McElroy Fusion equipment is a plus
• Experience in operating, troubleshooting, and repairing hydraulic equipment
• Experience in operating, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical or mechanical components; ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Experience using power industrial tools
• Experience operating powered industrial equipment / trucks / forklifts
• Ability to work in a shop or field environment
• Remain results-focused in a fast-paced customer service environment
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid state-issued license

Responsibilities

• Operate power tools, including grinding, cutting, sanding, drilling, etc.
• Operate powered industrial equipment in accordance with OSHA guidelines and procedures
• Observe safety precautions for shipping and receiving rental equipment, parts and accessories
• Properly package equipment to transport safely to customer sites
• Involvement in equipment repair and rebuilding including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical aspects
• Maintain Fusion equipment with fluid changes, filter changes, and wear-part replacement
• Follow check in/out procedures for rental equipment and accessories
• Troubleshoot fleet for needed repairs and maintenance
• Follow housekeeping and all safety policies
• May provide driver duties and responsibilities

Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a General Maintenance Associate!

Pay starting at $20 an hour and can vary depending on experience!

Schedule: Monday – Friday / 7:30am to 4:00pm

Responsibilities:

• Operate power tools, including griding, cutting, sanding, drilling, etc.
• Operate powered industrial equipment in accordance with OSHA guidelines and company safety operating procedures.
• Observe vital safety precautions for shipping and receiving of rental equipment, purchase equipment, parts, and accessories.
• Properly package equipment to transport safely to customer sites.
• Involvement in equipment repair and rebuilding including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical aspects of the Fusion equipment.
• Maintain Fusion equipment with frequent fluid changes, filter changes, and replacement of wear and tear parts.
• Follow proper check in and check out producers for rental equipment and accessories.
• Troubleshoot fleet for needed repairs and maintenance.
• Follow housekeeping policies.
• Follow all company mandated safety policies
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs
• Maybe responsible forproviding driver duties and responsibilities

Qualifications:

• Ability to work in a shop or field environment.

Pay Range:

$17.41 - $26.11

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
