Job summary

Ferguson is hiring Installation Associates in Redmond, WA. The role involves delivering, installing, and removing a wide variety of appliances in commercial and residential settings with a strong emphasis on safety and documentation.

Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM with some overtime; drug and background screening are required. Pay ranges from $19.34 to $29.00 hourly, with full benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have valid state-issued driver’s license.
• HDPE fusion welding experience is a plus.
• Forklift and warehouse experience preferred.
• Mechanical skills and willingness to learn (plumbing, electrical, construction).
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operates standard power tools and equipment in installation, maintenance, and repair activities.
• Performs basic installation, maintenance and repair on equipment including pumps, controls, lines, valves, motors.
• Inspects, operates, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs equipment.
• Assists with construction and installation projects as assigned.
• Prepares and maintains accurate work records.
• Performs duties in accordance with policies and safety standards.
• Attends meetings and training to enhance knowledge and skills.
• Is considered essential staff during emergencies and may work long hours.
• Communicate concerns to management in associate meetings.
• Enter data using 3rd party software applications to document work performed daily.

Responsibilities:

• Operates a variety of standard power tools and equipment in Installation, maintenance, and repair activities on a regular basis.
• Performs basic installation, maintenance and repair work on equipment including pumps, controls, lines, valves, motors, and the like.
• Inspects, operates, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs equipment.
• Assists with construction and installation projects as assigned.
• Prepares and maintains accurate work records.
• Performs all duties in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, regulations, and standards of quality and safety.
• Attends meetings, as appropriate, and training to enhance job knowledge and skills.
• Is considered essential staff during emergencies and may be required to work long hours at times.
• Participate in associate meetings and communicate any concerns to management.
• Use 3rd party software applications entering data to document work performed daily.
• May be responsible for providing driver duties and responsibilities

Qualifications:

• Prior experience with construction or installations preferred
• Must be at least 21 years or older.
• Valid state issued driver’s license is required.
• Prior experience with HDPE fusion welding will be a plus
• Forklift and general warehouse experience is preferred
• Possession of a DOT Medical Card or the ability to acquire a DOT Medical Card
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to express ideas clearly and completely when speaking to customers.
• Document important job notes in a way a non-trades person would understand.
• Possess mechanical skills and willingness to learn – basic plumbing, electrical, and construction skills
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to read and understand product specifications required.
• Outstanding attention to detail
• Organization, time management, and creative problem-solving skills
• Must be able to lift 50+ pound objects frequently and 90+ pound objects occasionally

Pay Range:

$19.34 - $29.00

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
