Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with HDD operations, specifically running large drills.
• Knowledge of drilling contaminants, additives, and mud treatment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL preferred.
• Knowledge of methods, materials, and equipment used in underground oil/gas transmission systems.
• Understanding of safety regulations, OSHA, first aid and resuscitation methods.
• Knowledge of local and state regulations, rules, specifications, and operating practices.
• Ability to read and interpret.

Responsibilities

• Implement all directional drilling plans and oversee rig site operations.
• Manage well bore path, perform surveys, and monitor rate of penetration.
• Provide training to drilling trainees and support marketing of company products.
• Prepare and maintain required documentation and data records.
• Ensure safety in work areas and coordinate with client representatives.
• Maintain rig equipment and coordinate purchases for maintenance.
