Job summary

NVIDIA in Santa Clara is seeking an accomplished map data validation lead to validate HD/SD map data for autonomous driving. The role requires deep domain knowledge of map data structures and validation strategies and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will develop validation strategy, identify process gaps, and perform both manual and automated validations daily while training map release operators for ongoing operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
• Extensive knowledge of map data validation standards and methodologies.
• At least 6+ years of dedicated QA or operation experience in map data validation.
• GIS background a phenomenal plus.
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal direction.
• Phenomenal team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop overarching map data validation strategy by collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Identify gaps in the existing map data validation process and implement improvement measures across map release team
• Perform manual and automatic map data validation on a daily basis
• Train/support map release operators
