Job summary

Applied Intuition, Inc. in Sunnyvale seeks a senior engineer to own HD maps end-to-end and drive feature areas across our product suite.

You will lead implementation efforts, define storage formats, and coordinate with engineers and customers to shape future map designs. The role requires experience with mapping challenges, 2+ years in autonomous vehicles or simulation, and proficiency in C++ and/or Python.

Qualifications

• Experience building software components addressing real-world mapping and localization challenges.
• 2+ years of experience working in either autonomous vehicles or simulation products.
• Working knowledge of C++ and/or Python.

Responsibilities

• Lead HD maps implementation and own related feature areas across all of our products.
• Define our map storage format to handle more features and distribute map data focusing on UIs, data pipelines and storage, and SDKs.
• Collaborate with engineers and customers on existing and future designs and features.
