Job summary

The Service Company is hiring a Heavy-Duty Diesel Technician (Diagnostics- Level 3D) at our Dayton location. You will diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical systems across all makes/models using OEM software and resources.

• Ability to work independently on complex repairs.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and electronic knowledge.
• Ability to effectively use diagnostic software, service information, and technical resources.

• Ability to adapt to changing vehicle technology.

Responsibilities

• Engine Diagnosis & Repair across multiple manufacturers using OEM software.
• Aftertreatment systems diagnosis and repair and relate to engine performance.
• Advanced Electrical & Electronics: diagnose electrical problems, wiring, sensors, and vehicle communication systems.
• ABS Systems: diagnose and repair ABS using diagnostic software.
• Cab & Chassis Controllers: diagnose and repair ECUs and related systems.
• Automated Transmissions: diagnose and repair transmissions (Volvo I-Shift, PACCAR TX, etc.).
• Advanced Diagnostics: troubleshoot other complex vehicle systems.
