Job summary
Workforce Services, Inc. in Dayton, OH seeks an experienced Diesel Technician to join our fleet service team. The role demands hands-on diesel/gas truck work, and offers a stable, high-paying environment with full benefits.
Schedule is full-time with AM/PM shifts. Starting pay is $45-49+ per hour DOE, with paid time off, holidays, comprehensive health/dental/vision, life and disability insurance, and bi-weekly payroll plus growth opportunities.
Qualifications
- 3–4 years' experience in GSE and/or Diesel/Gas mechanic experience.
- GED or High School Diploma.
- Valid driver's license and own tools.
- Must pass background check.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on Diesel Vehicles/equipment Light and Heavy Duty and Trucks Van/Sprinters.
- Preventive maintenance.
- Perform test drives and make system adjustments as needed.
- Maintain accurate service records and manage shop equipment.
- Conduct field repairs in various weather conditions
