Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency (MDHA) seeks a meticulous HCV Financial Administrator to oversee financial activities for the Housing Choice Voucher Program. Reporting to the Director of Rental Assistance, you will handle monthly HAP runs, reconciliations and HUD-compliant financial reporting.

You will monitor funds, forecast needs, ensure audit-ready records, and collaborate across departments to support fiscal sustainability and compliance with HUD regulations.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration or closely related field.
• 3–5 years of progressively responsible experience in accounting or financial analysis.
• Knowledge of HUD Housing Choice Voucher financial requirements (Two-Year Tool and VMS).
• Strong GAAP knowledge and governmental accounting experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Finance staff, landlords, participants and external agencies.

Aufgaben

• Manage and oversee HAP payments and monthly runs to ensure timely payments.
• Reconcile landlord and participant accounts and monitor ledgers for accuracy.
• Prepare HUD-required financial reporting and monthly statements.
• Forecast expenditures and monitor program funds for sustainability.
• Collaborate with Rental Assistance and Finance departments to resolve issues.
