UNC Health Care in Morrisville, NC, is seeking a Technical Support role to provide support for surgical services using Epic OpTime and Anesthesia workflows. This position involves collaborating with operational teams to enhance functionality, troubleshooting issues, and updating team on escalated problems.
The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with at least two years of IT systems experience. You will be expected to take calls on a rotation and travel onsite as needed.

Provides technical support (development, testing, integration, and implementation) of applications and interfaces that deliver IT tools and support business functions across the health system.
The responsibilities of this role will focus primarily on supporting our surgical services operational teams using Epic OpTime and Anesthesia workflows, providing innovative solutions to enhance functionality, and troubleshooting issues effectively. Crucial to the position is the ability to work collaboratively with their team to optimize workflows and tools, adhering to our guiding principles and governing structure. This role will be responsible for analyzing, developing and implementing new functionality as well as enhancing current build, contributing to meaningful innovations in surgical services workflows.
You will be expected to become an expert in Epic OpTime and Anesthesia workflows. You will be expected to take call on a rotation and respond to requests effectively, updating your team/manager on issues that require escalation. While this position is remote working, you will be expected to go onsite across the state for go-lives and required meetings. An Epic certification in OpTime and/or Anesthesia will be a minimum requirement.
