Job summary

Providence Swedish Medical Center in Everett, WA is seeking a HCC Coding Quality Auditor under the Coding Manager, Revenue Capture. You will perform detailed diagnostic chart reviews for Risk Adjustment and HCC coding, query providers to validate diagnoses, and ensure coding accuracy and highest specificity.

You will serve as a coding expert, collaborating with the Quality Integrity Program team to ensure compliance with Official Coding Guidelines, proper coding conventions, and RVU capture.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in medical billing and coding for charge review and RVU work.
• Experience reviewing patient accounts, explanations of benefits, and financial records.
• CPC or CCS within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed diagnostic chart reviews for Risk Adjustment and HCC coding.
• Query providers to validate diagnoses and clarify criteria.
• Ensure compliant documentation and accurate RVU capture.
• Serve as coding expert with adherence to Official Coding Guidelines.
