Job summary

PedIM Healthcare is seeking a proactive HCC Coder to join the Primary Care team in Citrus County, FL. You will ensure accurate risk adjustment, complete documentation, and CMS-compliant coding while supporting high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include chart reviews, RAF/HCC identification, and collaboration with Clinical Integrity and Provider Teams to optimize RAF scores and coding accuracy. Healthcare coding credentials are preferred and 2+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of HCC/Risk Adjustment coding experience
• Strong knowledge of CMS risk adjustment methodology and Medicare Advantage models
• Active coding credential preferred (CRC, CPC, CCS, or equivalent)

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-visit and chart reviews to identify RAF/HCC conditions
• Conduct post-visit chart reviews to capture RAF/HCC opportunities
• Review provider documentation and assign accurate ICD-10 and HCC codes
• Identify documentation gaps and provide feedback to providers
• Stay current with CMS risk adjustment guidelines and regulatory updates
• Maintain established productivity and quality benchmarks
• Collaborate with Clinical Integrity, Outreach, and Provider Teams
