Job summary

Oregon Health Authority seeks a Health Policy & Program Manager 2 to lead Medicaid HCBS policies and care transitions across Oregon’s health system. You will oversee policy development, alignment with the Medicaid State Plan, and collaboration with partners to address social determinants of health.

The role requires strong leadership, budget oversight, and experience navigating regulatory processes, aimed at promoting health equity and system-wide improvements.

Qualifications

• Six years of supervision, management, or progressively related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field satisfies part of the requirement.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation, and oversight of Medicaid HCBS policies.
• Shape budget strategies and allocate resources across programs.
• Collaborate with OHA divisions, ODHS, and partners to ensure policy alignment.
• Provide leadership to a multidisciplinary policy team and manage contracts.
