Job summary

Windward Life Care seeks an experienced HCA Development Manager (30 hours/week) to lead training programs for Home Care Aides across San Diego County. Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, you will design curricula, evaluate clinical skills, and supervise a growing team of HCAs while ensuring engaging, effective sessions.

The role requires coordination with HR and Care Managers, occasional evenings, and a commitment to quality caregiver education in a local, well-established home care

Qualifications

• 2+ years nursing/therapy with hands-on clinical experience.
• 2+ years supervising clinical staff.
• Active LVN/RN/OT/OTA/COTA-L/PT/PTA license.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and drive as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HCA training programs, curriculum development and evaluation.
• Supervise Home Care Aides and coordinate coaching and reviews.
• Partner with HR, Staffing and Clinical teams to run sessions smoothly.
• Evaluate HCA clinical skills during hiring and ongoing development.
• Schedule and manage on-site trainings and remote sessions.
