Job summary

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in Missouri seeks a Physician Leader for Home Based Primary Care (HBPC).

The Medical Director will oversee HCBC programs, provide clinical supervision, and ensure regulatory compliance while partnering with the Extended Care and Rehabilitation Service. The role requires MD/DO with VA residency training and board certification/eligibility, plus experience in geriatrics or extended care.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full and unrestricted medical license in the United States.
• Completion of an approved residency in an accredited program.
• Preference for Geriatrics board eligibility or certification and teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and clinical leadership for HBPC programs.
• Coordinate activities with HCBC and ECRS leadership and staff.
• Supervise HBPC physicians and nurse practitioners.
• Ensure compliance with agency regulations and JC standards.
