Job summary

1000 Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Principal Engineer for HBM IO Design Architecture in Richardson, Texas. In this role, you will lead multi-generation IO initiatives, defining and owning HBM IO and data path architecture, as well as architecting high-speed circuits for best-in-class performance.

Successful candidates will need a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and extensive experience in memory or high-speed IO design. Micron offers various benefits including medical, dental, and robust paid time-off.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in memory or high-speed IO design.
• Deep expertise in analog and mixed-signal CMOS circuit design.

Responsibilities

• Define and own HBM IO and data path architecture.
• Architect and analyze TSV-based HBM link schemes.
• Define and drive HBM PHY IO training features.
• Architect high-speed IO circuits for HBM interface die.

Skills

Hands-on experience in memory or high-speed IO design

Expertise in analog and mixed-signal CMOS circuit design

Experience with high-speed IO architectures

Excellent communication skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering

Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering
