Job summary

TAS Environmental Services, LP is seeking a HAZWOPER Technician and Class A CDL Driver to perform field environmental services, spill response, and waste handling. The role requires DOT compliance, safety awareness, and strong physical stamina for outdoor, industrial environments.

Responsibilities include equipment operation, pre/post-trip inspections, and coordination with customers and teams. Travel to job sites and after-hours availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Safety procedures and PPE use in hazardous environments.
• Operate Class A commercial vehicles and follow DOT rules.
• Read, write and report documentation accurately.
• Know and apply spill response and waste handling basics.
• Read routes, schedules, and site conditions to plan work.
• Maintain equipment, logs, and supplies in field operations.
• Communicate with supervisors and customers clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on environmental services and spill cleanup.
• Handle hazardous and non-hazardous materials per TAS procedures.
• Assist with soil/debris removal from sites and facilities.
• Operate and maintain field service equipment and PPE.
• Support tank cleaning, confined-space work, and related tasks.
• Respond to after-hours calls and travel to sites as needed.
• Maintain driver logs, manifests, and required records.
• Ensure safety meetings and trainings are completed.
