Job summary

TAS Environmental Services, LP is seeking a field-oriented Environmental Technician to support emergency response, cleaning, and industrial waste operations. The role involves handling hazardous materials, equipment operation, and site cleanup across Texas and nearby regions.

Qualified candidates will perform field tasks, maintain logs, and comply with state and federal regulations. Travel up to 25% and a physically active workload are expected.

Qualifications

• Strong observational skills and ability to operate field equipment.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and safe handling of hazardous materials.
• Ability to collect data, document logs and perform mathematics.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Handle hazardous and non-hazardous materials and perform industrial cleaning tasks.
• Assist in soil, debris and spill cleanup and disposal preparation.
• Operate and clean field equipment and maintain hours logs per regs.
• Travel up to 25% as needed; support multiple sites as required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
