Job summary

SierTeK Ltd is seeking (3) Material Coordinators (Days) and (1 Swing shift) to support an opportunity at Randolph AFB, TX. You will manage hazardous materials, tool inventories, and TMDE, ensuring compliance with HM/HAZCOM regulations while coordinating on-base logistics and reporting.

Responsibilities include labeling, storage, inspection, and issue of HM and tools, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating disposal with DRMO.

Qualifications

• Experience in supply, material control, tool control, logistics, or depot operations.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work with contractor personnel and government staff.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and accountability of tools, equipment, and materials.
• Ability to work independently while leading and coordinating a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage hazardous material (HM) operations using EESOH MIS.
• Generate and maintain HM reports on reorder requirements, shelf life, inventory levels, and backorder status.
• Ensure HM are labeled, stored, inspected, transported, and issued per regulations and HAZMART procedures.
• Inspect HM storage lockers daily for expired or damaged materials.
• Maintain HazCom training compliance before handling HM.
• Coordinate disposal of spent, used, expired, and unwanted HM/containers.
• Use TCMax and related systems to track HM.
• Manage tool issue centers and satellite locations, including receipt, storage, inspection, issuance, transportation, repair, and disposal of tools and equipment.
• Maintain tool inventories and accountability to prevent FOD and ensure tool-control compliance.
• Issue/receive tools only to authorized personnel per security/ID procedures.
• Manage TMDE tracking, maintenance, and calibration schedules.
• Coordinate transportation of overdue TMDE for calibration/servicing.
• Provide staffing, transportation, and inventory support for tool centers and satellites.
• Inspect and inventory toolboxes, document contents on custody receipts, coordinate pickups/returns.
• Mark and identify tools using government procedures.
• Use FEMS, PMEL SharePoint, Excel to track inventories and status.
• Prepare tool management reports (overdue tools, open orders, etc.).
• Process warranties and coordinate repair/replacement/return of equipment.
• Manage excess/unserviceable tools and disposal with DRMO.
• Follow lost/missing tool procedures and report missing tools per Air Force instructions.
