Job summary

SierTeK Ltd is seeking a Lead Material Coordinator (Swing) to support an opportunity at Randolph AFB, TX. The role focuses on depot material control, coordination of material support, and leadership of contract personnel to ensure timely task-order execution.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in lead or supervisory roles in supply, material control, logistics, or depot operations.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work with contractor personnel, Government representatives, supervisors and management.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and accountability of tools and materials.
• Ability to lead and coordinate a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform depot material control and supply functions as Lead Material Coordinator.
• Provide leadership and oversight for all contract personnel on the task order.
• Monitor performance to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Receive, delegate, and assign work based on skills and qualifications.
• Ensure personnel are certified and trained for assigned duties.
• Monitor daily operations for compliance with procedures.
• Report workplace accidents and safety events.
• Attend required meetings and relay operational information.
• Coordinate daily activities with the site supervisor.
• Serve as primary point of contact with Government supervision and management.

Essential Job Functions

• Perform depot material control and supply functions while serving as the Lead Material Coordinator.

• Provide leadership, oversight, and direction for all contract personnel assigned to the task order.

• Monitor employee performance to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks and production support requirements.

• Receive, delegate, and assign work requirements based on employee skills, qualifications, and capabilities.

• Ensure contract personnel are available, properly certified, and adequately trained to perform assigned duties.

• Monitor daily operations to ensure compliance with task order requirements and established procedures.

• Report workplace accidents, incidents, and other safety-related events in accordance with applicable requirements.

• Attend required meetings and communicate relevant operational information to personnel and management.

• Coordinate daily activities and material support functions with the site supervisor.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for coordination and communication with Government supervision and management.

Qualifications

Minimum Position Requirements

• Previous experience working in a lead or supervisory capacity, preferably in supply, material control, tool control, logistics, or depot operations.
• High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) equivalent.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with contractor personnel, Government representatives, supervisors, and management.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and strict accountability of tools, equipment, and materials.
• Ability to work independently while effectively leading and coordinating a team.
