Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking entry-level Hazmat Shipping and Handling Specialists to join a safety-focused team in the United States. Responsibilities include waste pickups, bulking, packaging, spill response, forklift operation, drum inspections, and safe loading of waste hauling vehicles. Training is provided to help you grow.

You'll work at customer sites with a strong emphasis on compliance and safety. A high school diploma, valid driver's license, and willingness to pass checks are required;

Responsibilities

• Making waste pickups throughout a customer's facility.
• Conducting chemical bulking and consolidation.
• Packaging and labeling waste products to maximize efficiency and maintain compliance.
• Participating in spill response on customer's site as needed.
• Operating forklifts.
• Inspecting drums for container integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Ensuring the safe loading and unloading of waste hauling vehicles.
• Completing waste stream sampling and profiling.

RESPONSIBILITIES

InSite Technicians perform a wide range of tasks, including:

• Making waste pickups throughout a customer's facility;
• Conducting chemical bulking and consolidation;
• Packaging and labeling waste products to maximize efficiency and maintain compliance;
• Participating in spill response on customer's site as needed;
• Operating forklifts;
• Inspecting drums for container integrity and regulatory compliance;
