The ideal candidate brings transportation industry experience, knowledge of DOT regulations and Hazmat shipping requirements, and strong organizational and communication skills to support the logistics and operations team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Transportation and logistics experience required.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and Hazmat shipping requirements.
• Experience coordinating freight shipments and working with carriers.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
• Experience with ERP systems or Transportation Management Systems (TMS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure on-time delivery
• Communicate with carriers, vendors, and customers regarding shipment status and transportation needs
• Track shipments and resolve transportation issues in a timely manner
• Prepare and maintain shipping, receiving, Hazmat, and transportation documentation
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and hazardous materials shipping requirements
• Monitor inventory movement and assist with supply chain coordination
• Update shipment information in company systems and maintain accurate records
• Research and resolve delivery discrepancies and customer concerns
• Support the logistics and operations team with additional administrative duties as needed
