Job summary

R+L Carriers is seeking a Safety Hazmat Technician at our Sanger, TX service center. You will report to the Director of Safety and perform emergency response, hazmat cleanup, site remediation, and decontamination tasks while upholding R+L’s safety standards.

The role requires a 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification, physical fitness to lift 75 lbs, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Excellent safety communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 40 Hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification required.
• Physically fit; able to lift 75 lbs.
• Ability to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform emergency response and hazmat clean-up.
• Site remediation and equipment decontamination.
• Handle hazardous materials and ensure proper containerization and safety documentation.
• Coach co-workers on unsafe behaviors and lead safety initiatives.
