Ryder System, Inc. in Houston, TX is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our driving team. The role offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits after 30 days, and a path to a long-term driving career with opportunities across TX, LA, MS, AR, OK.

Average pay ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 per year with a weekly average up to $1,923. Schedule is Tuesday through Saturday with two consecutive days off, night dispatch, and Hazmat endorsement required.

Qualificações

• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle.
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR 2 years within last 5 years, OR 5 years within last 10 years.
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test, Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for last 3 years.
• DOT physical and Ryder road test are required.

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules.
• Detect and minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs.
• Load/unload freight or assist with loading/unloading if required by customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

$90K - 100K Yearly Average

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• $5000 loyalty bonus paid out over 6 months with the first payment at 30 days
• Up to $1923 weekly average
• Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday with 2 consecutive days off each week
• Start Time: 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM Dispatch

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
