Amentum in Ogden, UT is seeking a driver to operate trucks under 3,000 lbs, perform pre-trip inspections, and transport loads to destinations both on and off government installations.

Daily duties include receiving assignments from the Dispatcher and maintaining safety compliance. The role offers hourly pay with comprehensive benefits and requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and eligibility for a Secret clearance.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required with minimum six months general and six months specific experience.
• Must have a valid operator's license to drive equipment plus eligibility for a Secret Clearance.
• Must meet federal and state requirements and be able to obtain/maintain clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Drive trucks under 3000 lbs to destinations for pick-up and delivery using maps.
• Operate on/off government installations in varying traffic conditions.
• Transport HAZMAT as needed for depot missions.
• Inspect trucks for defects before and after trips.
• Monitor vehicle operation and report maintenance needs.
• Secure loads for safe arrival at destination.
• Communicate directions via radio or cellular phone.
• Assist in loading and unloading material transported.
• Perform daily preventive maintenance adjustments.
