Job summary

Clean Harbors in Hampden ME is seeking a Class B CDL Driver (Hazmat) to operate light and heavy-duty trucks and equipment at our customer sites, including vacuum loaders and trailers. The role involves driving, loading/unloading, and ensuring safe operations with hazardous materials as part of a team.

Responsibilities include maintaining logs, complying with DOT regulations, and being on call for emergencies.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to use various mobile devices.
• Perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Background check, drug test and medical exam may be required.
• Comply with OSHA Respiratory Protection Standard requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers as part of a team.
• Drive a variety of Class B trucks and handle loading/unloading of trucks.
• Maintain daily logs and time sheets; ensure DOT/compliance requirements.
• Ensure customer satisfaction during service and comply with safety policies.
• Be on call for emergency response on a rotating basis; assist with site remediation and hazardous materials handling.
