Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a seasoned HazMat Chemical and Gas Professional to lead safe handling, storage, and transportation of hazardous materials. You will manage vendor performance, KPI development, and multi-department compliance across DOT, FTZ, and fire/building codes while driving continuous safety improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in hazardous materials management in manufacturing or semiconductor environments is required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; capable of driving root-cause analyses.

Responsibilities

• Apply supply chain and KPI methods to monitor operational metrics.
• Manage hazardous materials in compliance with DOT, EH&S, and site SOPs.
• Oversee daily logistics operations and provide SME guidance on raw material processes.
• Use SAP/ERP for planning, inventory tracking, and reporting.
• Coordinate raw material shipments and monitor delivery to support fab operations.
• Lead cross-functional projects to streamline processes and close gaps.
• Maintain knowledge of DOT HAZMAT and FTZ regulations.
• Familiarity with IFC and building codes related to chemical storage/transport.
