Job summary

McAlister Oil is seeking a Hazmat Fuel Driver to operate a semi-tractor trailer or service truck, delivering fuel to locomotives on customer sites. You will ensure safe, compliant operation and timely documentation of all deliveries using the onboard computer system.

The role requires a valid CDL with X endorsement, DOT medical card, and successful completion of background checks and pre-employment screenings.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A or B CDL with X endorsement as required by location
• Current DOT medical card with notation on MVR
• Acceptance by the customer’s security verification service
• Must pass background checks and pre-employment screenings
• Must pass company road test

Responsibilities

• Operate semi-tractor trailer or fuel truck to deliver fuel to locomotives or tanks
• Load and unload tanker safely and document deliveries
• Maintain safety inspections and comply with DOT rules
• Track deliveries with onboard computer and complete receipts
• Submit all required paperwork timely and accurately
• Assist with new-employee training as needed
