Job summary

McAlister Inc in Springfield, MO is seeking a full-time Hazmat Fuel Driver to operate a semi-tractor trailer or service truck delivering fuel to locomotives on customer property. You will ensure deliveries are completed safely and efficiently in compliance with company, customer, and government regulations.

Responsibilities include loading and fueling locomotives, documenting deliveries with the onboard system, conducting pre- and post-trip inspections, and maintaining required paperwork.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A or B CDL license with X endorsement.
• Current Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Acceptance by the customer’s security verification service.
• Must be able to pass all background checks and pre-employment screenings.
• Ability to pass company’s road test.
• Ability to speak, read and comprehend English.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations for deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload tanker with petroleum products safely and deliver to locomotives.
• Service and fuel all assigned locomotives safely and timely as required.
• Operate vehicle safely and in compliance with DOT rules and regulations.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on equipment and vehicles.
• Utilize onboard computer system to track deliveries and receipts of fuel.
• Maintain required documentation, paperwork and receipts per policy.
• May assist with orientation of new employees and hands-on training.
