Job summary

McAlister Oil is recruiting a Hazmat Fuel Driver to operate a semi-tractor trailer or service truck, delivering fuel to locomotives on customer sites. You will enter data, reconcile gallons delivered, and submit receipts in a timely manner, following all company, customer, and government rules.

The role requires DOT-compliant safety performance, pre/post trip inspections, and strict documentation practices. Additional training may be provided, with home daily shifts and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A or B CDL with X endorsement as required by location.
• Current DOT medical card with notation on MVR.
• Ability to pass background checks and pre‑employment screenings.
• Ability to pass company road test.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload tanker with petroleum products safely and deliver to locomotives or holding tanks.
• Service and fuel locomotives and perform deliveries per customer requirements.
• Operate vehicle safely according to DOT rules and regulations.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections; report defects to the Manager.
• Use onboard computer to track deliveries and receipts.
• Maintain documentation and receipts per company policy and timeframes.
