Job summary

Clean Harbors in West Phoenix, AZ seeks a Field Services Technician I to perform hazardous waste cleanup, site remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials. You will work in the field with safety as a core value, requiring physical work and on-call readiness.

Starting pay is competitive; comprehensive benefits after 30 days, and company-paid training. Two-week out-of-state academy training is required and expenses are covered.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to perform physical functions per responsibilities.
• Emergency response availability and on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies to keep health and safety as a top priority.
• Perform heavy lifting and operate light and heavy equipment.
• Use PPE and work in varied temperatures and environments.
• Support field sampling and calibration of meters as needed.
• Climb ladders/scaffolding and work from trucks and tanks.
• Be on-call for emergency response on rotating basis.
