Job summary

EnviroServe, a Clean Harbors company, in Auburn, Maine, seeks a Field Service Project Manager to oversee large-scale environmental projects at customer sites, including emergency response and site remediation.

The role requires coordinating with Supervisors and the Branch Manager, maintaining health and safety standards, and preparing cost estimates, work scopes, and schedules. New hires attend one week of paid training at our Academy out of state.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; higher education preferred.
• 3+ years environmental field service operations experience.
• Strong environmental remediation background.
• Emergency response supervisor training and/or Marine Spill Response training preferred.
• Knowledge of federal and state environmental regulation.
• Cost estimating and computer experience.
• In-depth knowledge of remedial technologies and emergency response experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage large-scale waste site cleanup projects and construction, including decontamination and demolition.
• Coordinate site activities and liaise with customers and stakeholders.
• Prepare proposals with cost estimates, work scopes and schedules.
• Develop relationships with customers and understand their issues.
• Provide timely, concise information to superiors and subordinates.
• Support cost estimates and subcontractor selection and procurement.
• Enforce health and safety policies and collaborate with safety leadership.
