Job summary

Clean Harbors in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Field Service Project Manager to lead large-scale hazardous waste cleanup, site remediation, and emergency response projects across client sites. You will coordinate with team members, supervisors and the Branch Manager to ensure safety, cost control, and timely delivery.

The role requires new hires to attend out-of-state training at the Academy for one week, with expenses covered by the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degrees preferred.
• 3+ years environmental field service operations experience.
• Strong environmental remediation background.
• Emergency response supervisor training and/or Marine Spill Response training preferred.
• Strong understanding of equipment operations.
• Knowledge of federal and state environmental regulation.
• Cost estimating and computer experience.
• In-depth knowledge of remedial technologies.
• Previous experience working Emergency Response.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies and acting safely.
• Manage projects involving waste site cleanup, decontamination and demolition.
• Prepare proposals with cost estimates, work scopes and schedules.
• Develop relationships with key customers and address issues.
• Provide timely, concise information to superiors and subordinates.
• Support proposal preparation, cost estimates and subcontractor selection.
• Enforce Health & Safety policies; work with Health and Safety leadership.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
