Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is hiring a driver for New York City routes operating a 26 ft box truck in the Easton area. You will collect sharps and medical waste containers from healthcare locations and deliver excellent service daily.

Requirements include a Class B license with HazMat, clean driving record, DOT medical card, and 3 years of box truck experience. The role offers 40–50 hours weekly at $30/hour, with overtime and a $3,000 new hire bonus after probation.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Delivering throughout NYC/NJ/DE/PA.
• Operate a 26 ft box truck safely.
• Collect and deliver medical waste containers at customer locations.
• Provide strong customer service and build relationships.
• Meet delivery schedules and communicate changes clearly.
• Load/unload and organize the truck per schedule.
• Comply with DOT regulations, log hours and inspections.
• Handle material handling tasks up to 200 lbs when needed.

Daniels Health is offering a $3,000 new hire bonus for joining our amazing team in Easton! We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer focused driver with a Class B license WITH HAZMAT and experience driving large trucks to utilize your experience across the Easton, PA area. You will be collecting sharps and medical waste containers from our healthcare customer locations and delivering a high level of customer service daily. 925 Conroy Pl, Easton, PA 18040

Job Responsibilities

• Delivering throughout NYC/NJ/DE/PA.
• Operating 26 ft box truck in a safe manner.
• Safely collect, deliver and store our medical waste containers at customer locations.
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships.
• Completing deliveries to time schedule and clearly communicating changes.
• Loading and unloading and organizing your truck per schedule needs.
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections.
• Pushing/pulling a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs!!

Requirements

• Class B license with a clean driving record and VALID DOT MEDICAL CARD AND HAZ.
• Minimum 3 years experience operating 26 foot box truck.
• Passing our 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations.
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections.
• Can-do attitude with a strong customer focus.
• Proven longevity in past employment.
• TOUCH FREIGHT EXPERIENCE!!!
