Job summary

Clean Harbors seeks a Class B CDL Driver (InSite Driver) to safely transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste on and off customer sites in full DOT compliance. You will operate company vehicles, ensure proper loading/unloading, and maintain accurate logs and vehicle inspections.

Responsibilities include placarding, regular maintenance, and adherence to all safety procedures while coordinating with site leadership.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-3 years of experience; prior driving, industrial, or environmental experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and limited moving violations.
• Willingness to travel/drive more than 75% of the time as required by routes.
• Must complete required company and regulatory training (DOT, OSHA, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles (tank, van, roll-off) to transport waste on-site and off-site in DOT-compliant manner.
• Ensure proper loading/unloading and verify compatibility and container integrity.
• Place placards to meet DOT and company requirements.
• Maintain accurate logs and vehicle inspection reports daily.
• Perform vehicle inspections and basic maintenance; keep equipment clean and safe.
• Follow all safety procedures and communicate with site leadership about schedules and needs.
• Perform other duties to support InSite operations.
