Job summary

Clean Harbors in Benicia, CA is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to operate a variety of heavy and light trucks at customer sites for hazardous waste clean-up.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements must be obtainable within 90 days.
• Ability to use various mobile devices.
• Able to perform physical functions as required.
• Must pass background check, drug test, and medical exam.
• Respiratory protection standards compliance per OSHA.

Responsibilities

• Health and safety is the top priority by following safe work practices, policies and processes.
• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers as part of a team.
• Operate a variety of Class A trucks.
• Loading and unloading of trucks.
• Perform manual labor on site to fulfill customer needs.
• Placard vehicles to meet DOT requirements.
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets and reports.
• Follow local, state and federal regulations.
• Safely operate vehicles per DOT rules.
• Observe company operating guidelines and EH&S procedures.
• Be on call for emergency response on a rotating basis.
• Handle site remediation and hazardous materials as assigned.
