Job summary

Clean Harbors in San Jose, CA is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to operate a variety of heavy and light trucks at customer sites, with duties on and off-site related to hazardous waste cleanup. Two-week academy training out of state is required and paid by the company.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are required or preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks per job requirements.
• Drug test, background check, and medical/fitness evaluations may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers as needed.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and reports.
• Follow local, state, and federal regulations including DOT requirements.
• Safely operate vehicles in compliance with company policies.
