Job summary

Clean Harbors in Cranston, RI is seeking a Class B CDL Driver (Hazmat) to operate light and heavy-duty trucks at customer sites. You'll work with vacuum trailers, roll-off trailers, van trailers and more while performing driving and non-driving duties for hazardous waste cleanup.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL is required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to use various mobile devices.
• Perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Must pass a background check, drug test, and medical exam as applicable.
• Facial hair standards per OSHA Respiratory Protection Standard.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers as part of a team.
• Drive a variety of Class B trucks and related equipment.
• Load and unload trucks at customer sites.
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and reports.
• Ensure safety practices and DOT compliance at all times.
• Be on call for emergency response on a rotating schedule.
• Handle hazardous materials appropriately and follow site decontamination procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
