Clean Harbors in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to operate a variety of trucks at customer sites, including vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll offs, with hazardous waste clean-up duties.

This position requires about 50% travel around the United States for Emergency Response projects. Travel expenses are paid and per diem is offered; training Academy is held out of state at the start.

Qualifications

• Hold valid Class A CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission.
• Must pass background check, drug test and medical exam.
• Willingness to travel ~50% for Emergency Response projects.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers on-site.
• Load and unload trucks; perform manual labor as needed.
• Ensure placarding meets DOT requirements and maintain logs/reports.
• Follow all safety, health, and environmental guidelines and company policies.
• Be on-call for emergency response on rotating basis and assist with site remediation.
