Job summary

Clean Harbors in Sparks, NV is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to operate a variety of trucks and work equipment at customer sites, including vacuum trucks and roll-offs. The role includes driving and non-driving duties related to hazardous waste clean-up, with a strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, log maintenance, and compliance with DOT and company guidelines. On-call emergency response may be required on a rotating basis.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to use mobile devices on the job.
• Must perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Successful completion of background check, drug test and physical as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of Class A trucks at customer sites and on-site as needed.
• Load and unload trucks and perform related manual labor.
• Follow safety policies and DOT regulations and maintain logs and reports.
• Ensure proper placarding and compliance with local, state, and federal rules.
• Be available for on-call emergency response on a rotating schedule.
