Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; English reading/writing proficiency.
• Two years of consecutive driving experience or recent Truck Driving School certification with valid CDL.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Hazmat endorsement on CDL or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past 2 years.
• No alcohol-related convictions within last 10 years.
• Must pass DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate.
• Able to push, pull, move, and lift at least 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers, averaging 10-12 stops per day, handling freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent service.
• Accurately count and record quantities and styles of delivered and picked up products.
• Prepare hazardous materials shipping papers according to DOT regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report needed maintenance.
• Identify maintenance needs and coordinate vehicle repairs as required.
• Build relationships with internal and external customers to meet business goals.
• Continue learning about Linde’s operations to support company growth.
