Job summary

Brenntag is hiring a CDL A driver to support daily chemical distribution in a safety-focused environment. You will operate Class 8 tractors, haul hazmat and non-hazmat materials, and perform loading/unloading with proper documentation while complying with DOT, OSHA, and Brenntag safety standards.

Expect reliable schedules and home time, with late-model trucks and robust safety features. Local candidates within sixty miles are preferred and pre-employment checks apply.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Class A CDL with Tanker/Hazmat Endorsement as required.
• DOT medical card and ability to pass drug screen/background checks.
• Experience transporting hazardous and non-hazardous materials in a chemical distribution setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate a power unit (Class 8 tractor) safely and efficiently.
• Follow DOT/OSHA rules and site-specific procedures; complete paperwork.
• Load/unload, manage transfers, and secure deliveries for liquids and solids.
• Maintain equipment and communicate delivery instructions to dispatch.
• Read, comprehend and follow English instructions; document operations.
