Job summary

Brenntag seeks a safety‑conscious CDL Driver to support daily chemical distribution, operating Class 8 tractors for bulk and packaged deliveries. You will load, unload, log documentation, and ensure compliance with DOT/OSHA and Brenntag safety standards while maintaining vehicle integrity.

The role requires Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, a current DOT medical card, and the ability to drive a manual transmission. Local Texas residence and regular home time are expected.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A with Tanker, Bulk and/or Hazmat endorsements and a current DOT medical card.
• TWIC card or proof of application where required by location.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission.
• 1 year liquid bulk hauling or 3 years’ general truck driving experience.
• Willingness to work overtime/weekends and complete required training.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 8 tractors for chemical distribution, transporting hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
• Load and unload liquids and solids via bulk or packaged deliveries and complete related paperwork.
• Comply with DOT/ OSHA and Brenntag safety standards; perform pre-trip inspections and daily logs.
• Maintain equipment, communicate delivery instructions with supervisor and dispatch as needed.
• Follow site-specific rules, wear PPE, and ensure securement and reporting as required.
