Job summary

Brenntag seeks a skilled CDL Driver to support chemical distribution, operating Class 8 tractors for hazardous and non-hazardous liquids and solids. You will load/unload, complete required documentation, and ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and Brenntag safety standards.

We offer reliable routes and regular home time with late-model trucks. Ideal candidates hold a CDL A with Tanker/Bulk/Hazmat endorsements (as required), a valid DOT medical card, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or US military experience.
• CDL Class A with Tanker/Bulk/Hazmat endorsements as required.
• Valid DOT medical card.
• TWIC card or in process (location may require).
• Ability to drive a manual transmission.
• Must reside within sixty miles of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class 8 tractor/trailer daily for chemical distribution.
• Transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials (liquid and dry).
• Load/unload using pumps and equipment; manage transfer and paperwork.
• Follow DOT, OSHA, and Brenntag safety policies on site and with customers.
• Meet safety, labeling, and documentation requirements; ensure vehicle and equipment are maintained.
• Communicate with supervisor/dispatcher for delivery instructions and updates.
