Clean Harbors in San Jose, CA is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to operate a variety of trucks at customer sites for hazardous waste cleanup. The role includes driving and non-driving duties on and off-site, with rigorous safety and DOT compliance.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Ability to use various mobile devices.
• Must pass background check, drug screen, and physical.
• Must meet OSHA Respiratory Protection standards regarding facial hair.
• Willingness to perform manual labor and loading/unloading of trucks.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers.
• Load and unload trucks and perform site labor as needed.
• Ensure proper placarding to meet DOT requirements.
• Maintain logs, time sheets, and job-related reports.
• Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Be on-call for emergency response on a rotating basis.
