Job summary

Patriot Environmental Services is seeking a hands-on Heavy Equipment Operator/Driver to join our environmental services team. The role involves operating heavy equipment, driving roll‑off trailers and related vehicles, and delivering hazardous waste materials.

You will ensure safety, compliance, and reliable on‑site support for emergency response and remediation projects. Ideal candidates have a Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, 2–5 years of heavy equipment experience, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or highly preferred.
• Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements preferred.
• 2–5 years of heavy equipment driving experience required.
• 1–5 years in hazardous waste control/environmental services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate two types of heavy equipment (e.g., 50/70 Barrel Vacuum and Roll‑Off Trucks).
• Make deliveries safely and on time.
• Prepare Haz‑Mat & Non‑Haz manifests.
• Maintain DOT/FMCSA logs, timesheets and vehicle inspections.
• Respond to 24/7 emergency calls and work overtime as needed.
