Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a HazMat Retail Driver to operate Class A trucks in an LTL capacity, picking up retail waste from stores and industrial sites. You will ensure proper packaging, labeling, and secure transport to a storage or treatment facility, while maintaining manifests and on-site communication.

The role requires DOT pre-trip inspections, adherence to HazMat regulations, and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• A valid Class A CDL with a current MVR meeting policy requirements.
• Ability to pass 40-hour HAZWOPER training upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Understand and utilize company technology to track waste collection and disposal.
• Deliver high level of customer service with clear communication onsite.
• Maintain vehicle log and documentation of manifests and work orders.
• Perform DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Comply with DOT regulations for hazardous waste packaging, loading, labeling, and segregation.
• Assist in facility housekeeping and on-site field service projects.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
